Enabling SMTP-AUTH For Your E-mail

SMTP authentication allows you to send email through our servers no matter where and how you are connected to the Internet.
Unless you already use SSL ,DO NOT USE ANY OF THE SSL OPTIONS at this time.
Windows
Outlook Express 6
Tools Accounts Click on the Mail tab Double click the account (or highlight it and hit the Properties button) Servers tab In the Outgoing Mail Server section, click My server requires authentication.



Click the Settings button, then Use same settings as my incoming mail server.


Outlook 2002
Tools Email Accounts Select View or change existing e-mail accounts, then Next Double click the account (or highlight it and hit the Change button) Click the More Settings button on the bottom right Click the Outgoing Server tab. My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.








Netscape 4.x
Eudora 6
Tools Accounts Sending Mail click Allow Authentication.


Mozilla 1.4
Tools Mail & Account Settings Outgoing Server (SMTP) Click Use name and password and enter your username in the User Name field.


Thunderbird 1.0.2
Edit Account Settings Outgoing Server (SMTP) Click Use name and password and enter your username in the User Name field.


Macintosh
Outlook Express 5 / Entourage
Tools Accounts Highlight the account and click edit Click the button reading Click here for advanced sending options Click SMTP server requires authentication.Click Override default SMTP port Enter port 8025. Click Use same settings as receiving mail server.


Outlook Express 4
Outlook Express 4 does not support SMTP AUTH. Please upgrade the program by going here.
Mac Mail
Mail Preferences Highlight the account and click edit Click the Account Information tab Server Settings Choose Authentication: Password and fill in your Username and Password.


Eudora 6
Special Settings Sending Mail click Allow authorization For SMTP Relay Personality, choose your account. You can manage your Personalities in Eudora by going to Personalities on the left menu.


Thunderbird
Tools Account Settings Outgoing Server (SMTP) click Use name and password and fill in your User Name
